Synthetic marijuana causes controversy
Mr. Kuo, an art student in college describes his experience with a type of synthetic marijuana known as K2. The substance has caused plenty of controversy in a number of states including Michigan. Michigan is one of many states in the process of trying to pass a bill that will ban the K2 Substance.

Kwame Kilpatrick transferred to a low security prison
Kilpatrick was transferred Friday from the Oaks Correctional Facility near Manistee, where he had begun serving 18 months to five years for probation violations on June 8. James Thomas, Kilpatrick’s lawyer, said access to research facilities and a computer will better allow his client to prepare a defense against federal fraud and tax charges.
