Bars discriminating against men?

New York attorney Roy Den Hollander, a self described “anti-feminist,” has failed to convince a federal court that New York night clubs have discriminatory practices against men. Hollander is specifically concerned about ‘ladies night’ where women often receive discounts and specials on drinks that are exclusive to women only. The case has caused plenty of controversy online over whether or not this practice demonstrates discrimination. One blogger says that under the same ideal, theoretically, you can offer discounts and specials that target a specific race. Would people consider that discrimination? Hollander plans to appeal the decision meaning that regulations on targeting specific demographics in bars may go national, effecting Michigan, in the future as well.
