Kwame Kilpatrick's personal lawyer, Samuel McCargo, during the text message scandal has been suspended from practicing law for nearly six months for failing to report Kilpatrick's lies at trial and for attempting to hide the incriminating texts through a secret settlement deal. The 179 day suspension is shy just once day of requiring McDCargo to be reinstated.
